These terms govern your use of daytours.rome.it ("the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept them.
1. What the site is
Day Tours Rome is an independent informational website about day trips, tours, tickets and transport from Rome. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, ticket seller or transport company, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any archaeological park, museum, railway, bus company, port authority, tour operator or booking platform mentioned on its pages. Company and product names belong to their owners.
2. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on the site, including product cards and "check" buttons, lead directly to booking platforms such as GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Headout and carry our partner code. If you make a purchase after following such a link we may receive a commission from the platform. This does not change the price you pay. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored and nofollow in the page code. Commission arrangements do not determine the content of our reviews or comparisons.
3. Information, prices and availability
We verify prices, hours, fares and timetables against official sources and partner data, and each page shows when it was updated and when partner prices were refreshed. Nevertheless, all information is general guidance only: prices, hours, routes and conditions change without notice and partner prices are dynamic. Confirm any detail that matters to you with the operator, venue or platform before relying on it. Nothing on the site is a contractual offer, professional advice or a guarantee of availability at the price shown.
4. Third-party bookings
Anything you buy through a link on this site is a contract between you and the platform or operator that sells it, under their terms and cancellation policies. We are not a party to that contract, receive no payment or booking data, and cannot modify, cancel or refund a booking. Complaints must be addressed to the seller.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including missed trains, closed venues, changed prices, cancelled tours, or the acts and omissions of third parties whose services are described or linked. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Italian law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
6. Intellectual property
The text, structure, tables, comparisons and original graphics on the site are the property of the publisher and are protected by copyright and database rights. You may read, print or share single pages for personal, non-commercial use with the source credited. Reproducing, scraping, translating or republishing the content, in whole or in substantial part, requires our written permission. Photographs are used under the licences stated on the photo credits page and remain the property of their authors; reuse of a photograph is governed by its own licence, not by these terms.
7. External links
The site links to official websites, booking platforms and other third-party resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Reviews and opinions
Reviews of operators, platforms and publications express our editorial opinion based on publicly available information at the date shown on the page. If you represent a business reviewed here and believe a factual statement is wrong, write to travel@daytours.rome.it with the correction and its source.
9. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use automated tools to extract its content beyond what search engines routinely do.
10. Changes
We may change these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from them or from use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
